Working with a personal trainer has brought a lot to my life - routine, guidance, accountability. It also brought me this. My current addiction in a shake form! Its super easy which I love!
one cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
one scoop Blessed protein Salted Caramel (or any protein)
ice (as many cubes as you like)
It has been a journey to finding a shake that I like mainly because I had to eliminate all dairy from my diet due to breastfeeding. Seeing as how 99% of protein powder on the market are made with whey, this posed a problem. I honestly tried so many vegan powders before Blessed that my husband, and my wallet, were not impressed. My trainer and her husband, who is also in the fitness industry, had just gone vegan and discovered Blessed protein. It comes in three flavours, but so far Salted Caramel is my favourite. I am patiently waiting for the S'mores flavour to become available in Canada because I fear this may trump good ol' S.C. Another positive is that I can pick this up at GNC - any reason to visit South Centre Mall is a good one amiright?
Should be straightforward but here we go... throw all the ingredients into your blender and blend it up! Pour into any acceptable drinking vessel and you're good to go!
This is almost always my second meal of the day and is perfect for on the go. I honestly look forward to this shake everyday! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
